Cascara, which means “husk” or “skin” in Spanish, is the dried skin of coffee berries.
Produced in Costa Rica with organic methods (no certification), pasteurized and dried. This delicious tea has flavor notes of hibiscus, berries and tamarind.
How to prepare hot cascara
- Add 250 ml of boiling water to 5-7 g of Cascara.
- Let the tea steep for 5 minutes (longer for a stronger flavor).
- Strain the tea to remove the Cascara pulp.
- Enjoy it!
How to prepare cold cascara
- Add 250 ml of boiling water to 20 g of Cascara.
- Let the tea sit in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
- Strain the tea to remove the Cascara pulp.
- Enjoy it!
