Our ceremonial grade ground green tea , organic matcha , is carefully grown in Uji, Japan. This premium matcha comes from the first and second harvests of the year, which are mild but intense in flavor. They differ in quality (flavor and color) from harvests that take place in other months of the year.
An important feature of our matcha is the manual harvesting and processing; hardly any machines are used. The first leaves are picked by hand, gently steamed and ground with granite stones. This traditional process guarantees a high quality matcha without pesticides.
We perform annual soil sampling and laboratory testing for heavy metals and radiation contamination to ensure the best quality. In addition, each batch of organic matcha is carefully checked for its mineral properties, so you can enjoy the purest and healthiest matcha tea.
